This bag is cheaper here than on the 5.11 website that makes it excellent value. It has 3 mag pouches at the front that i found serve a great purpose of holding cans of energy drink. The two side pockets are a decent side but with only one zip on each one makes opening and security for objects a slight problem. The main compartment is laced with a molle system on side nearer to your body, the size of the compartment is ok but fitting an A4 folder in may be a slight squeeze. The belt loop at the back is excellent, it has proves itself on the london to Brighton cycle keeping the bag steady and tight to my hips as a result keeping my back unsweaty and cool, unlike many rucksacks i have used. The feels well built and durable and has proved itself when hiking striding edge and helvellyn. This is an incredible all purpose bag that has been integrated into my edc system.

Built to be a range bag. I use it more as a messenger bag. It is a lot better in terms of build quality than a lot of other bags that are the same price. Having cut the elastic strapping off the front pouches I find them very useful for storing a drinks bottle and first aid kit. Items that I either go to a lot, or may want to get hold of quickly. The same goes for the end pockets, having so many different areas makes it very easy to keep things easy to find.
The webbing on the near side of the inside of the bag allows molle pouches to be fixed into the main section of the bag as well. Further organising what you carry. Awesome bag.

It's rugged, stands up to a decent amount of punishment so far w/o showing it too much. Being black it gathers an incredible amount of dust and looks dirty constantly :/
The other gripe is that it is pretty small overall (which depends on how you look at it can be a good thing). I put several more molle pouches inside and on it, and everything holds well, but again, putting attachments inside really cramps things up but helps keep things organized. The sleeve over the buckle usually slides out of place, but other than that, the bag is solid.
One last gripe is that the bag was exposed to some heat and it caused the material to melt/get damaged there. It's small, but the material does not handle heat well.

Positives: nice size bag for patrol gear, and extra ammo. Overall build quality seem good and it is attractive
Concerns: missing double and reenforced stitching in some areas that need it like zip seams. It doesn't have a compact profile.

I think it is ideal for it's intended purpose and I would recommend it.

Wonderful bag. I bought it primarily as a range bag and not for daily carry. If I go shooting, I just load extra ammo for the pistols and AR15 along with 6 mags for the AR. It's very well stitched and even though it gets heavy with all the ammo it holds it well.
