Setting up your HDMI cable on your PS3 games console
1: Turn on your TV and set its input to HDMI.
2: Make sure your PS3 is connected via a HDMI cable.
3: Power on your PS3 and press and hold the power button for approx. 5 seconds, you will hear the PS3 start to beep, release the power button after the second beep.
4: Your PS3 should automatically configure itself for HDMI video and Audio output.
If you require any further information or help please refer to your PS3 instruction booklet or contact Sony customer services who will guide you through the setup of your console

the cable is rubbish quality and i wouldn't buy this ever again. I'm now using just the av cords for my ps3 and thats better than the cable. very annoyed...

This is a high quality cable for a very reasonable price.
I have just jumped on the HD bandwagon having got a 1080p tv and a PS3 and to get the most out of it you need a HDMI cable.
In any high street shop you can expect to pay about £20 and I have seen cables for £99.99. Its absolute rubbish that you need to spend that much.
This cable feels as if it has the same build quality as any other cable and the results you get from it are sublime.
Even if you don't believe the price difference, surely the low price is worth the risk.
I can't fault it at all. 5 stars.

Great deal for the price
I don't see why I'd pay the local hi-fi store 20+ bucks for an HDMI cable when that one cost four times less (with shipping) and neither the TV nor the PS3 seem to see any problem... Read more
