High quality strap designed for Giottos tripods. It comes with an attachment hoop in case your tripod doesn't already have one fitted near the head.

One end of the strap attaches to the hoop near the had of the tripod using a quick release hook. The other end simply loops around the three legs near the feet. The weight of the tripod keeps the strap loop tight and therefore the legs of tripod together. Removal is simply a case of slipping the strap off the legs - the top of the strap remains attached to the top hoop.

    Worth the money.

I wanted something to carry my Giottos tripod about and wasn't sure the best way. After reading very mixed reviews about most of the straps that would fit, I decided on the same brand for compatibility. I'm glad I did. I don't get wound up about how it sits on the shoulder, I just adjust it as required and it's easy enough to carry. I have had no problems with it, and when the tripod is in use I don't notice the strap is there. Would definitely recommend.

Having bought a Carbon fibre Giottos Tripod GTMTL8361B (Absolutely fantastic!)and an MH5001 Head (also absolutely fabulous)I bought the Tripod bag to carry them around.
This did not work because with the head attached the zip does not do up once it reaches the head, so only any use for the car or without the head attached or by unscrewing the head adjustment handles.

A year ago I decided I would try the strap - Absolutely no use for me.

The head I use is too heavy so it immediately turns the tripod upside down, which may have been OK if the strap stayed on your shoulder but it does not, also the strap that attaches around the legs immediately falls off when the tripod is taken off the shoulder and put down.
So I am sorry to say that after nearly a year of persevering I finally became infuriated with the dangling strap flapping about and twisting around the tripod that I have taken it off.

This still leaves me no option other than to carry my tripod by one of the tripod head handles!

Bought this to go with a tripod bag from Giottos and it is of good durable quality. I did have reservations about the plastic hooks at each end that house a sprung loaded metal gate, but they seem more than adequate for the job.
