At the time of purchase I was looking for an original HP replacement which would have cost 92.50. This particular battery was on offer at 29.99 instead of 49.99 so I decided to give it a whirl.
It has proved more efficient than my original HP battery that only ever alllowed me to work on battery for one hour. This battery runs almost 2 hours whithout recharging. It fits my DV6000 perfectly and matches in all respects - excellent value for money all round.

I bought this to replace my original hp battery which was lasting about 20 minutes after 3 years working with it everyday.
I found this one to be a great price. Fits perfectly on the hp Pavilion dv6000.
It comes with a leaflet with advice on how to get it to full capacity, which I found really helpful.
So far it has been working great. nearly 3 hours with battery only (after the full capacity has been reached), on battery consumption medium.

My old battery, the original with the laptop, was obviously wearing out, as proven by the fact that unplugged the power lasted less than 20 minutes. This new battery was the 5th of the price of the HP version, and to date (5months on) is going strong. It arrived promptly, I've had no problems with the software accepting it, and the temperatures when working are no different to the original. I'd definitely buy again.

Good fit for HP DV2000
