We bought this games table for our 10 year old for Christmas, because it was the only reasonably priced table available which combines table football and proper air hockey as opposed to "push hockey". Because of the way in which you have to put the table together - upside-down until right at the end - it is very easy to make a mistake. Despite being ultra careful (so we thought) we managed to put all the football players facing the wrong way, and it was a heck of a job to take it all apart again and turn them all round, especially at 11pm on Christmas Eve!
We had one or two other small issues with this table: Firstly, the play surface of the football table was quite tricky to slot into place, and you have to be extremely careful not to damage the edges in doing so. Secondly, the wood effect veneer was not stuck down properly in several places which was a bit disappointing although fairly easily fixed with a little bit of wood glue and some patience.
Once assembled, the actual product is pretty good and lots of fun. The table football has proved most popular so far, closely followed by the air hockey, which is great fun even for complete novice players in the family. The pool table aspect is quite good, bearing in mind that its a toy and never expected to be fabulous quality! The small size of the table and the nature of the flexible play surface makes for some interesting (and usually unintentional!) trick shots, but basically it does what its supposed to do, and our 10 year old is more than happy. The table tennis is a bit of a disappointment because it is so difficult on such a small play surface, but since in our case we never bought the table with the intent to use that function anyway, its not really important to us.
All in all, this is not a bad product for the price, but be warned about the tricky assembly and the extra care needed to get it right, and make sure you don't leave it til the last minute like we did!
