3rd and Bird,

For those who haven't seen it, 3rd and Bird is an English program, about a group of birds living in a tree. It is animated, and is a very jolly and musical program with the birds constantly singing and whistleing different songs.
The singing and whistleing, as well as the colourful animation makes the program a great hit with both my 7 month old son, and my 22 month old daughter. The program appeals on so many levels, that even my wife and I enjoy watching it. There are some nice subtle jokes that adults will get, like the fact other birds visit from 'out of tree' and the way they occasionally refer to 'every birdie' in place of 'every body'. Each episode has a lovely story, often with a subtle lesson in their for growing children to learn from, such as why it's important to share or tell the truth. But it does this in an subtle and un obtrusive way, so the program is still very light for children to watch. I can't remember if this DVD has the episode 'Baby Jordan', but it really is the best episode they ever made. I can't rate 3rd and Bird highly enough. It's an excellent program!

My 3 year old daughter loves it, and I have to confess I sing along to the songs as well! Best series around at the moment!

absolutely lovely..i can't work out who loves it more..me or my 2 year old..infinitely watchable and a gentle moral each episode.
