Please be aware that the magnets end up everywhere as when you clear the screen they don't all go down the correct hole, only 4 colours the other 2 have to be purchased seperately and when you shake to seperate the different colours some get stuck in between the back panel and the sorting dividers!
My daughter is 7 and got this for her birthday and we are really disappointed one of the pens broke within a week, think this will end up back in the box and not played with

My son picked this with his birthday money as he had seen it on an advert. It's absolutely rubbish and has been returned. The pens kept dispensing more than one magnet each time so he had to keep putting them back in. The magnets kept falling out of the back. The paper is so thin and easily ripped with normal play. As the other reviews say, the magnets are tiny and will definately end up in the vacuum. Overall it's just a cheap, not very well thought out toy.

This item arrived today. I have taken it out of its box and have found it to look cheap and not worth the money paid. Also the magnets are very small so if any get dropped on the floor they will probably be unnoticed and get hoovered up. As this is a request from my daughter for Christmas i can't send it back, but do wish i could have changed her mind. In my opinion in is not value for money.

My daughter saw this advertised on TV and wanted it for Christmas. I wish that I hadn't bothered. To start with I hadn't realised that you don't get all the colours with this pack. I think that it's a bit of a rip off as to be able to get all the colours to be able to complete the pictures properly you need to buy 2 additional pens separately. Now here's the most annoying part. I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells them and even the US websites that have they listed, don't seem to sell them on line. So we are left with a toy that only has 4 out of the 6 pens you need, with no way that I can see of purchasing the remaining two.
Also, my daughter quickly runs out of the colour discs before completing the pictures. Again I can see no way of buying the refills to enable her to create the pictures she wants.
Even at the discounted price don't bother, it's not worth the money. Very disappointing!

A note to Flair Leisure Products. If you wish to comment on my review I would be grateful if you would be constructive and let me know how to buy the extra pens, rather than repeat yet again your standard comment that you have left on all the other negative reviews on this product.

I was excited about this toy as it looks really cool and different to anything else my son has.
The toy is for Christmas so my son has not had a chance to play with it yet and I can only offer my opinion at the moment.
It is a fair bit smaller than I thought, although I wouldn't of been that bothered about that. I took all the tiny magnets out of their bags and placed them on the board and then scooped them into the top which then sorts them. This is the bit which is frustrating as the magnets are all different sizes - they work like a coin sorter only my magnets still got mixed up as they slide between the clear plastic panel on the back into the wrong compartments. It took ages for me to re sort them with a lot of banging and shaking to get them in the right place. I think kids are going to get this problem all the time. It wouldn't matter but you can't load the pens if the bigger magnets are blocking the holes.
Once the pens are loaded, creating the picture was good and I'm sure my son will love that part. But sorting is not straight forward. It will require a lot parental help I think and will become annoying.

This looked such a good item but is absolute rubbish avoid! The magnetic dots are so tricky to shake into the pens, and once in it is impossible to press lightly on the stencil, they either won't come out or all fall out. Basically myself and my husband tried to get it to work for our 5 year old son on Christmas day, realised it was a useless toy and threw it out! What a waste of money.

My daughter received this as a present for Christmas 2011. I was not at all impressed with the toy as it took ages to sort the magnets every time and only seconds to complete the picture. This is supposed to be a product to develop a child's creativity but in actual fact all they are doing is tracing along the coloured lines - they are guided in their colour choice and told where to put the dots, not, in my opinion very creative at all! Then you spend the next 10 minutes sorting the dots, shaking the board to get them back in the pens, only to find that when you turn the board round, some have escaped and tiny little magnetic dots are all over the table or floor!! It wasn't the best way to spend Christmas day.

I wouldn't recommend at all and was horrified when I saw how much my sister-in-law had paid for it.

This is the worst thing you could buy for your child. It is awful. It doesn't work like it should. My kid was in love after seeing the commercial. What a waste. I can't believe it made it past the product testing phase.
