Format:Audio CD
This is a rare masterpiece. The opening track is the best piece of music in any genre I heard in 2008. From there the album floats through different scenes - it seems to drift at first in enjoyable rhythms and melodies and then more wonderful music unfolds.

From the first notes, this is clearly the most 'different' music - in style, and production. Every note is clear as a bell, the rhythms are compelling, and the style is authoritative. Three utterly professional musicians, who know their instruments' strengths, and really know how to play.
If you have previously heard world music as a delightful chaos of sounds, do listen to this as it is entirely different. The music is so good, and these unfamiliar instruments are so integrated, that the effect is really beautiful - to be listened to over again with even greater appreciation.

Format:Audio CD
An exceptional mixture of three string-instruments from different parts of Africa. The musicians from 3MA are in their own right very talented artists and are in keeping with tradition when playing their music. They are however able to capture the 'modern feel' when interpreting their experiences in their music. It's great to listen to them when stuck in a traffic-jam or travelling long distances, or as background music when sitting at home on the veranda on a warm sunny day.

A superb CD with the most wonderful music a great trio, the instruments blend so beautifully and it really scores from not having percussion. I await their next offering
