Comfy comfy comfy! 28 Sep 2010

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I usually use a mouse pad with a wrist rest (say that three times fast) and it really keeps my hand and wrist comfortable all day. This pad is different than my nylon covered one; it is a clear, plastic with a very pleasing softness. The pad has a special finish underneath that sticks to your desk and won't slide. You can press your wrist against the pad, the mouse pad stays in place and it's easier to move the mouse around. I am not entirely delighted with the magenta color scheme and daisies--I have a black desk with leather and stainless steel mesh accessories so it's a bit frou-frou for me but the pad itself is heavenly to use. If you want to rest your wrist as you use a computer all day, I have to say, this is one comfy mouse pad.

Warm to the touch as well as to the eye 30 Mar 2011

This takes up little room and can be carried easily in a laptop case. It grips much better than others I've used. The small size enhances portability, a plus for me as I move my laptop about often yet need a wrist pad too.

The center placement of the pad, which is soft but firm, stays warm to the touch, while being slightly more supportive, being a little higher than the previous one I've used. This ambidextrous design appeals to the half of my family who are left-handers! Unlike earlier pads in our house, it lacks that curved shape with a wider base designed for one hand (the right, usually).

When moving the mouse to the top of the pad to calibrate with the top of the computer screen, it may nudge past the upper edge. I'm not sure if this will wear down that margin in time over thousands of movements. I do have large hands, so that needs to be taken into account. I can't call it a flaw, for this pad's meant to be compact.

The gel-shape fits under the wrist support with not much give, which is the point, but it does not grab the skin on the bottom of your wrist as you slide your hand about with the mouse. This offers a good match with the 3M gel wrist pad I also use. The mouse pad's not as cold to the wrist. The pad's plastic surface may hold up better than the faux-textured surfaces that wear down on other mouse pads I've used. The picture offers a bright tropical touch of escapism compared to the dull black norm, too.

Warm and Bright 12 April 2011

I really wanted to love this mouse pad as I have been looking at something with a wrist rest for quite a while. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of use, I find it is not as comfortable as I had expected. Using it took quite a but of getting used to. I discovered I had to find how to position my wrist on the gel rest, or I would end up with my arm (from wrist to elbow) going numb or other times my wrist would actually become painful.

I love the colors and design. It's bright and cheery and the pad doesn't slip when on your desk. The gel gets warm as you rest your wrist and certainly is much nicer than setting your wrist on a cold desk top. I think the wrist rest might have been a bit more comfortable with a gel pad that wasn't quite so high or firm. The surface where the mouse rests is hard and textured. It makes cleaning easy, but my laser mouse doesn't seem to always like the surface. The pad size is smaller than my old mouse pad, and I found that since I use a larger mouse, the gel rest can get in the way. My husband's mouse is smaller, and the gel rest doesn't interfere the way it does with the larger one.

Personally, I found the overall functionality of this mouse pad to be somewhat of a disappointment.

Pretty and functional, but not very comfortable. 20 Oct 2010

This mousepad looks good, bright pink with pretty flowers. The gel wrist pad is a fun, cushy, and flexible. I have a glass top desk, and the mouse pad sticks to it well, doesn't bunch even a centimeter. But I've found, and I don't know if it's just me, that my wrist actually hurts after using it awhile. Maybe the gel is just too bouyant for me. It's still functional, but I've turned it around so as not to use the write rest.

Gel is a little too firm 19 May 2012

I had this same brand mousepad with an underwater scene. The gel finally split after many years because I forgot to take a bracelet off. This one os not the same. This gel wrist rest is much firmer, which I really don't like as well.
