Being unable to get out to the shops I ordered these when I had a spate of headaches recently, and very good they are too.
They are a pack of rectangular pads, sticky on one side (you peel off a layer to get to the sticky part) and containing a "slice" of gel which is cold and remains so for a few hours. The difference between these patches and another brand that I'd tried in the past is that they smell of menthol, which when you have a bad headache or migraine is surprisingly helpful...maybe it relieves some of the nausea, I'm not sure. But it was a nice addition. You peel off the layer to reveal the sticky side, and press these, sticky side first, onto your forehead (just make sure you get your hair out of the way first). Smooth the patch down, lay back and close your eyes. I should imagine they're also lovely if you have a temperature as they really are cold (but not uncomfortably so). The coolness lasts a good few hours and then you simply peel the patch off, dispose of it, and replace it with another. The patches are in two packs of two so you have to fold the inner pack over once you've taken the first patch out, but the patches stay perfectly fresh. It was handy to be able to get these via Prime so that if you can't get to the shops then you can still get hold of these quickly.

these patches are a great relief for headaches (especially tension) with no need to take tablets
