At first sight, '3G Wireless Demystified' seems to be just what we've all been looking for. Packed with information on 2G and 2.5G, as well as 3G, it promises to provide a valuable and perhaps unique reference source. Unfortunately, closer study soon reveals typos, inconsistencies and errors in acronyms. One loses confidence and starts to wonder 'Is that a new acronym or an existing acronym that has been misspelt..?'
Structuring is frequently muddled with terminology explanations coming long after the first use of an unfamiliar term. Far from demystifying, the book will confuse many readers and it is certainly not pitched at beginners. But even so, there is plenty of good information if you're prepared to persever with what appears to be a Beta release.

This has to be one of the best 3G books for all levels around, from novices to the experienced network technologists. Its technical depth and detail is astounding, the author really takes time to illustrate and explain concepts, not simply list them. Making this books very readable and informative.

After reading this book, even novices who had the impression that 3G was a difficult subject to understand would become an expect on it.

The book really does demystified, making complex subjects understandable.
