This book is very handy for the course i am doing at university. It covers a great deal of topics and areas that relate well to the 3d studio max course.

Lots of Tutorials 24 Mar. 2002
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book is full of tutorials and is not really what I would call a "Quick Reference". I had to buy it for my max class, but I learned at least as much by doing the tutorials on the free version of 3ds max called "gmax".
