5.0 out of 5 stars Forget Me Not by Mandasue Heller 22 Jan. 2004
This is the first book i have read by Mandasue Heller and it wont be my last. Forget Me Not grabs you within the first 2 pages, the characters are strong, believable and realistic and you feel a slight sense of sympathy towards the Mother prostitute Pat Noone and her 14 year old daughter Lisa who cant believe her luck when she meets gorgeous Benny after the youth club disco, but is he really all he seems? Soon their lives are up turned when a serial killers starts murdering local prostitutes.
The book is really well written and keeps you on the edge of your seat alll the way through the book, I got quite scared at times!! If you like Martina Cole or Denise Ryan you will love this writer, one not to be missed!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant 9 Jun. 2008
I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down.

Basically it is the story of 12 year old Lisa and her prostitute mother who become involved with a serial killer when he starts killing people that they know or are friends with.

You get really close to the characters in this book and really feel for them as things happen. Certainly a page turner and definately recomended for those that love this sort of book.

5.0 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT - BEST YET 24 Sept. 2010
This is the 4th Mandasue Heller book that I have read and I LOVED IT!
It was gripping, seedy, interesting, addictive, and made me get lost in the setting as if I was really there.
I have really enjoyed the books of hers that I have read; The Charmer, The Club, Tainted Lives but none as much as this one and found that I finished it in a few days - I even sneeked it out with me whilst I was at work snatching a quick page or two when I could!
I was hooked right to the end and loved the fact that it had a fairly quick pace to it but that the pace became so quick nearer the end that my reading and thoughts and page-turning got quicker too.
For those who like books of the gritty underworld where everything is more true to life than all glamourous and will love this book and for those who have not read a Mandasue Heller book; you should find these entertaining and gripping. I have tried to read Martina Cole's books as they are so highly praised but unfortunately I just havent managed to find one that I can stick with which is a shame. Mandasue Heller is by far my favourite and I certainly hope she keeps the books coming each time with new fresh settings and plots to equally grip me to my seat and draw me in with each page.
TOP MARKS for this Mandasue - Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read from Mandasue 11 Feb. 2009
By Mistyange VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is the second book I have read by Mandasue and I was not disappointed. The storyline was quite gruesome in parts but I enjoyed it and could not put it down. I have ordered two more of Mandasue's books and am looking forward to reading them.
Quite a lot of people say she compares to Martina Cole and I loved most of her books and now am enjoying reading Mandasues.
In fact the first book I ordered from Amazon was Tainted Lives, a fantastic book too. The only problem was 4 chapters were missing and this was replaced quickly by Amazon (thank you Amazon) and I also received an email from Mandasue's secretary offering Mandasue's apologies even though it was not her fault. Now that meant a great deal to me as she offered to help, thank you Mandasue that was fantastic.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dark and Scary 21 Jan. 2011
This is the fourth Mandasue Heller book that I have read and I really enjoyed it. I always loved Martina Cole, but I think that Mandasue Heller is better. Her writing is just as powerful, graphic and near the knuckle, but not so much bad language.
I was grabbed by this story in the first chapter, with strong characters that seem real and you can have some sympathy for.
Quite dark and scary at times. A gripping read. Well recommended.
