I bought this book to help train a new junior DBA. Clearly explaining the process of SQL Server development from writing and documenting good SQL code, Change management through to testing, deploying and re-using T-SQL code, including how to maintain a code library and refactoring in a team environment, this book will help improve your SQL development skills.
If you are new to developing databases in as part of a team or if you work on your own, this book will prove helpful.
It is heavily promoting redgate tools but that is not surprising as it is published by redgate but there is a lot of information you will find useful as a database developer.
