Format: Paperback
Anyone really interested in the social nature of economics, neglected by current mechanist economic theories, will be greatly rewarded by this classic work of Marcel Mauss. This 1954 translation by Ian Cunnison is a model of brilliant translating. It is far superior than the RKP Classics translation which lacks clarity of detail and replaceses concreted terms with abstarct ones.
