As a Joe Bonamassa fan I bought his album with Beth Hart this year called 'Don't Explain'. Wow, what a stunning album, I think it's going to be one of those legends throug the years that new listeners discover and that Joe and Beth earn continuous respect for. So, it was natural to take a plunge into Beth's own music and I bought 'My California' and this one '37 Days'. They were ripped into my collection and joined my typical mode of listening by shuffle after an initial play through of each. In truth My California disappointed me, I didn't hear those rich vocals and highly charged emotion and it hasn't clicked yet. 37 Days sounded a little better and with each listen I like it more. I am not going to comment by track but perhaps I will edit this review to do so at some point. Suffice it to say that 37 Days was a good addition to my large collection of music over many years, a rock-blues album I really like.
