About the Author
The author is a retired police officer, who served in the Flying Squad in London, combatting major crime. He was stabbed, shot at and wounded in the course of his duties. Following the last shooting in the leg, it took him two years to learn to walk again. He was elected Man of the Year in 1977 and was been awarded the Queen's Gallantry Medal.
