Do you ever have trouble matching the colour of your tie to your suit, or wonder if the outfit you are wearing could be classed as smart or casual? If yes then this book is for you. It allows the reader to see easy to understand, clearly set out fashion advice. The font is easy to read for long periods of time, and is set out in a fresh and modern approach , with two tips to each page. It tackles the issues set out within by using humour, and allowing the tips and techniques to be easily taken in by the reader. Compared to other fashion books available on the market it is a little on the small side, and is in its description of clothing, very American and conservative. This can become irritating when reading from a modern, multicoloured perspective. Apart from this the book is original and well worth a read, so if you want to get some style into your life, and your clothes buy this book today.

Have you ever had trouble pairing the colour of your work shirt to a tie, or wondered about the correct dress sode for formal events. If the answer is yes then you need this book, although small it offers real insight into all parts of dressing for success in busienss, a casual look at home and for high class, social events. There are even chapters on clothes shopping, male grooming and the layout of the book is clear and easy to read for long time periods. My only quibble with the book is that it lacks the pictures that would almost certainly back up the advice given by the tips. All in all a great book and a must have product for those starting a new job where style in clothing is top of the agenda.

Inane Calendar Pretending to be a Book 17 Jun 2003
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

I bought this book because it had Bernhard Roetzel's name on the by-line. His book, Gentleman, is a real classic in this field. However, 365 Style and fashion tips is a waste of money.
This book is nothing but a series of 365 vacuous "hints" that are useless. Any person who is able to read will likely find this book an insult to his intelligence. This is NOT any sort of reference book, just 365 large-type inane tips of a sentence or two in length such as: #334 If you don't live near any stores, perhaps you should take a shopping trip to a country or state nearby. Or perhaps #189 "Do not wear white tennis socks with a dark suit."
The advice offered is either so obvious as to be useless, or not in enough depth to offer any help at all.
Style Tips for the ADHD mind! 7 Nov 2010

There are hundreds of books that purport to give advice on menstyle. They range from absurd to excellent. Some are a very hard read, this one is not. It manages to give good tips in short bursts, something perfect for those of us with the attention span of small furry animals. This is a great read for those who are new to the pursuit of sartorial splendor. I managed to glean some new opinions about style, even though I have and will read every single menstyle book I can lay my grubby hands on. Its a keeper that deserves a periodic re-read.
Concise advices - this is what you get 7 Sep 2007

I do not see anything against concise advices. Brief hints - this is what you get, and this is what it is. A good book for $5.
