Great Alpujarras Adventure,

Great book for great times in this wonderful region.Having bought this book and the Tour & Trail map for a Spring week in the Alpujarras I have to say they proved a wonderful combination. 34 Alpujarras Walks provided comprehensive walk descriptions, complete with GPS waypoints, that kept us on track all the time. Walks range from moderste to very strenuous and it includes routes, such as Caballo, that are not in any other guide book. Charles Davis writing is both accurate and inspirational, though we didn't make Mulhacen this time I'm sure we will on future trips.

I have bought other walking guides to the area but this beats them hands down. Excellent mapping, clear descriptions and written in an entertaining yet practical style. Plenty of additional information for planning accommodation etc.

This is a comprehensive guide for walking plus lots of additional information. The maps were very clear and accurate, and the descriptions of the walks precise but also entertaining. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent book for anyone visiting the area.
