I bought the CD to use as part of a World Cup project at school hoping to widen my pupils knowledge. I don't know how many of the anthems are correct but I do know that the music presented as the Spanish Anthem is the republican Himno de Riego and is from pre 1939. This music was played mistakenly at the Davis Cup final in Australia in 2003 causing a diplomatic incident.The corret Spanish anthem is called Marcha Real.

An unusual yet useful and interesting album of music which would be difficult enjoy in any way other than on such an album; not the sort of album which one would choose to sit and relax to but is to be listened to as being 'educational'.
