I bought this jug as an accompaniment to our brand new coffee maker. Previously we had used a glass jug to steam milk in but the metal jug is a more appropriate material when you want to feel the temperature of the milk it contains. This jug is actually smaller than I though it would be and can hold just enough milk for one latte or a couple of cappucinos or Americanos. It is very plain - similar to the sort of jug you might find in a hotel dining room or cafe. Not fancy, but it does the job and is just right for one or two cups of coffee.

I bought this jug to fit under my espresso machine and it fitted very neatly and looked the part. Unfortunately the spout is tiny and the hot coffee spilled everywhere when I tried to pour it into the cup - a definite design flaw. Give this one a miss if you want something that's functional.

If you like covering your countertops in milk, then this is the jug for you.

For everyone else who wants the majority of the milk to pour into the cup instead of running down the side of the jug, I'm afraid this simply doesn't do that. Even when quickly trying to dispense the milk in a vain effort to not create a white puddle on my counter every morning, it still pours down the side. Even a mug is more useful.

This is just a bog standard small jug, like you get milk in at motorway services, so with hind sight its quite expensive for what it is.

I bought one of jugs to use with my espresso machine to froth milk in. The first thing I noticed was it has quite a cheap feel to it, some of the edges feel quite sharp. The next thing I noticed is that it is hopeless at pouring anything ! The frothed milk I wanted to put in my coffee went all over the table as well, all in all very poor.

A neat enough looking jug however it is smaller than thought and struggles to provide sufficient milk volume for two decent sized coffee cups. I would advise going for larger capacity so as to allow for the milk expansion when heating the milk and frothing.
Spout not great for pouring and spills, so ideal for those clumsy people like myself and can blame the jug.

On something as simple as a small jug I expect to be able to pour without spilling milk. The small lip doesn't allow that, no matter how careful I am or how little milk in the jug, so it has been given to a charity shop. I replaced it with a jug from Andrew James - they get it right.
