There are lots of ways of making a map of the Munros and each has its own strengths and weaknesses. This particular map is much better suited for planning than as a tick off chart or something you could put on your wall as a poster.
Design wise the map is cluttered with masses of not particularly useful information around the edge - things like profiles of all the ranges and descriptions of mountain rescue services. This reduces the visual appeal.
The actual map shows all the Munros and tops and the major roads and railways. It misses out long distance walking routes like the West Highland Way.
For tick-off purposes you can colour in the little triangle for the hill but the scale is such that there is not enough space to add annotations - for example if you wanted add the date or if there were multiple people in a family sharing a chart.

I have been using a selection of books to plan my hill walking these few years. This map makes every hill easy to see in a single glance. Spot on for planning trips and getting a good idea of locations for all the hlls in relation to the rest of the country. Easy to read, you can colour in all the peaks you have hit and drool over the remaining challanges.
Excelent map, huge in size, best if you have a spare wall to hang it on or a very big kitchen table.
