Great for understanding the body 18 Dec. 2012

I would recommend this to anyone, with or without a science background. Neatly & logically presented material. Everything the layman needs to know, by its self or as the beginning for more study.

The 30 Second Guide Delivers on Its Promise of Being Concise 12 Aug. 2014
By ernest schusky - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Each section of the body, from the skeleton to the reproductive system, is dissected in three second, thirty second, and three mintute essays. The three second 'dissection' is an excellent introduction and REVIEW of the body part. The thirty second 'dissection' and the three minute essay are as concise an explanation as is possible. Good drawings supplement the written word.
The study of anatomy is equally concise but an excellent introduction to the history of the science. One page biographies of the individuals most responsible for developing the science span more than five centuries. The battle between religious dogma and scientific fact is particularly well documented.
Recommended for the astute high school student considering a career in medicine, particularly well suited as a supplement for college classes in zoology or comparative anatomy, and as an abbreviated encyclopedia for everyone needing to look up an anatomical detail.

I had seen the hard copy in my PT's office and lived it. The kindle version is just as good. A great guide for those of us who didnt pay enough attention in bio class in high school.
