I love 30 Rock! It's funny and well written, but I need the subtitles so I can relax and enjoy the show! It's just no fun to rewind from time to time, because I didn't quite understand what the actors were saying. Universal is notorious for lack of subtitles, I should have checked it before I bought it. It's a minor inconvinience to me, but for people whose hearing is impaired, the dvd is useless. Such a shame!

brilliant brilliant brilliant! as good as 'Curb Your Enthusiasm"or 'the Thick of it"(the two best TV comedies of the century so far). All the characters are superbly drawn , so much so that just a look or glance is funny, but the dialogue is scintilating !!, hilarious storylines with wit and invention to spare! why can't they make comedy movies in America that are as good as this ? the obvious stand out performance is of course Tina Fey as Liz Lemon but Alec Baldwin is a revelation in the role of Jack., he must be thanking the gods that this part came to him. in summary then BUY IT!!

this is a fantastic dvd - i laughed out loud to every episode, but i'm pretty sure some of the scenes have been trimmed slightly to take out the more racy stuff. jack's "freedom search" being an example. still well worth buying though - looking forward to the season 3 dvd!

30 rock season 1-2
Although the first series of 30 rock is not as funny as the rest, it is still a great success and has won many awards! If you love to laugh then look no further!
