5.0 out of 5 stars Reinvigorated the 30 days of night franchise 28 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Eben finally meets Alice Blood the FBI agent who ended the life of his wife Stella and he doesn't come off the better in their encounter, the FBI building has been left a total blood bath as the vampires run riot. They leave a message scrawled in blood 'this is what happens when we don't hide' but Eben's problems are just about to start as the elders enter the battle.
Alice's team is decimated as she goes after the vampires once more until she is left as the only human opposition to the uprising.
Eben in the final battle faces the biggest vampire you've ever seen and despite the abrupt ending I really enjoyed this last 4 issues of the 12 titled 'Run Alice Run'.
This final volume was released at the end of 2012 and has reinvigorated the franchise with Eben's new persona and the introduction of the FBI investigation playing a major part. Both the artwork and story are the closest in quality to the original 30 days of night story.
News of a "Criminal Macabre" crossover is something to look forward to and will be released in October 2013.
