30 Days Of Night: Blood Trails are 7 short episodes based on the New Orleans storyline from the original graphic novel 30 Days Of Night. BLOOD TRAILS follows George, the young addict, who makes a living seeking covert information for Judith, the weary but wise New Orleans vampire hunter.
Ready for a change, George plans to score one final job before he can leave town, but finds the road to salvation quickly crumbling when his contacts start turning up dead. Now George must dodge vampires while navigating the harsh underbelly of New Orleans to get his last payday and make it out alive

I borrowed this off a friend believing that it was a film. It was a series of short scenes at the end of which you kept being returned to the opening pages. very frustrating format to watch and I did not have the paitience to watch it all. Don't wste your time or money on this.

These are webisodes taken loosly from the comics by the same name and on that note expect short 7-8 min episodes that have been well directed, acted and have great attention to detail. Not many are into webisodes (I wasnt until I saw these) as they are a new thing so only buy if you enjoy the comics, movie or an avid fan. Clearly 30 days of night isnt Buffy as these vampires are a bit more scary and gross so dont be expecting what those below this review were probably expecting...probably not worth bitchin about as its under a fiver and would serve next to the movie and rumored sequel. Sam Raimi's company Ghosthouse clearly had faith in these webisodes as its right on the sleeve of the DVD so take a chance with these.
This is a series of 5 minute scenes that if you expected a prequel or sequel to 30 days of night might be enough to put you off the franchise forever.

Blood Trails
Not a bad prequel to 30 days of night but would have been better if the episodes were edited together as the constant credits and recaps are very annoying.

Excellent shorts dripping with gore, my wife thinks I am absolutely nuts, who am I to disagree, I loved the format, good introduction to the major film release.

What?
The idea of this film is great, if done before, the genre shouldn't fail, but this film misses. It just doesnt hold together, okay but should of been more, dissapointing

BEWARE THIS IS VERY SHORT!!!!
Please beware this is roughly 39 minutes in total please read the back don't fall into the trap thinking it is a full length feature a complete and total waste of time and money.
