I learned:

WHAT to say. Inspiration can come from having a good format as simple as ‘ 3 Top Tips’ or ‘Saying something nice.’
WHAT to include in a ‘Call to Action.”
WHY it is good to write guest posts on other bloggers’ sites.
WHY you should write titles with questions in them.
HOW to get targeted traffic from Mr. Google (yes, he’s another of your new readers
HOW to track and use results. And how to have an exciting end?
Lisa Attias, MoreSouth Meditteranean Catering

The main question is ‘Does it work’ and it’s an emphatic YES. Traffic to my blog was non-existent, but within a few days of blogging regularly the traffic increased massively – from 400 hits in a year to 600 hits in a month!

If you are serious about becoming a better blogger and have around 30 minutes a day to devote to blogging and reading other blogs then this a challenge that you will not regret taking part in, and most importantly it’s a lot of fun

Rob Scott, RS Bookkeeping

Should you buy the 30 Day Blogging Challenge ebook? If you’re serious about kickstarting your blogging, and want an easy to work through handbook with instructions all the way, plus a host of extras then without a doubt yes!

I've been blogging for over 4 years. I have 3 blogs. BUT Nikki's reputation was such that I checked out her book.
If only I'd had the benefit of her advice when i started.
But even now there are some wonderful nuggets and ideas. She explains things in a very simple to follow way and has inspired me to try out many of her ideas.
Highly recommended!

I already knew how to write blog posts, but hardly anybody read them. Then I joined Nikki's 30 day blogging challenge. Suddenly I learnt how to write posts specifically with my business in mind. More importantly I learnt how to attract readers to my blog, how to advertise my blogs on various directories or how to write SEO friendly titles. I also learnt how to find out what people are googling for and how to use that knowledge in a blog post.
So, if you are thinking of starting to write a blog or want to learn how to advertise it, buy Nikki's book. Apart from the fun you'll get from reading the tasks every day and wondering whether you can do it or not, you will pick up a lot of useful tips about making sure people will read your posts.
I can't recommend it enough!

I run a small business in the craft industry, and it's been a tough year - I signed up for Nikki's blogging challenge a while back because I was a little frustrated at the lack of movement I was getting in any of my social media efforts, and was aware that I was writing easily, but with little direction.

Her challenges are brilliant - if you're a person who needs to be nagged then getting one tiny task a day is perfect. They're like mini-homework-bites - you have only one task to do; you are told exactly what that is, so for example it might say "Today you are going to choose one of your products/services and blog about why it would benefit someone". She always gives a few examples, some hints, some important things to remember, and is available for help if you get really stuck.

Alternatively, if you actually like to sit down and study, then you can get her Challenges in book format. What is really clever, in particular about her Facebook, Twitter, and most certainly her SEO Challenges, is that they build over time - so whilst you can dip in and out (and I do every time I write a blog post, so I keep it fresh, stay disciplined and don't fall back into bad habits) you are also building on solid foundations - many tasks build on previous tasks. She also helps not only with content and context, but the technical stuff too - such as how to add Facebook comments to your blog, or to do important search streams in your Twitter account. She also gives you tips on good apps/online resources out there we should be using to help achieve our social media goals.

Nikki has become my Go-To Gal for social media; I am now writing a 'Message Calendar' to help us focus our social media and marketing activities over the next quarter, and I'm drawing on all Nikki's Challenges to help me really maximise clout, and reduce wastage in my efforts. I have them all open on my desktop at once!

For small businesses with little or no funds for buying in social media services at prohibitive costs, and who actually want to learn the art themselves, I can only say these will become invaluable tools in your arsenal.

I just wish she had a certificate I could proudly stick on my wall when I've done all her Challenges!
