I actually bought this to accomodate my Laserdisc player's AC3 output, which mde one too many leads to connect to my Pioneer amp. It works very well too.

It seems to have quite robust build quality for such a low priced unit, and the sets of connectors on the reverse side are all very clearly labelled so as to avoid confusion. My only gripe about it would be that the turn switch that is used to make your input selection, I wonder if there was a better choice out there for this part of it.

Still, that said, it works well as I could detect no cross channel interference from the other two inputs.

A very good buy for a tenner.

I use it as a 3 way in line switch and it works perfectly without diminishing audio quality

With the number of things that you can connect to TV's/AV Amps nowadays, it is really easy to run out of inputs which means have to dig around at the back of sets switching cables around all the time.

This devices allows you to plug 3 devices in with a simple rotating 3 position switch to allow you to switch among them. It is ideal for having multiple devices (esp ones that you rarely use) plugged in. My A/V amp in the playroom only has 3 inputs, but I needed to connect Sky+, DVD, Wii, PS/2 and VCR to it. I used it for my Wii, PS/2 and Video Player which then plugged into the A/V, with the Sky and DVD on the AV amp. Works perfectly, with no detectable reduction in performance. (as these are analogue cables keep them as short as possible and use reasonable quality ones.)

The ONLY issue is that with 12 connections plugged in, it becomes a lot bigger and unwieldy than pictured, so you should consider where you put it so that those cables don't become an eyesore.

I bought this as I had run out of inputs on my hi-fi amplifier. I connected my DVD audio and my CD Player outputs to this and plugged this device into the CD inputs on the amp. I didn't connect any video through it though.

I played a CD and set the switch to DVD. Turned up the volume and heard blessed silence. No sound leakage across the switch. Did the same playing a DVD with the switch set to CD and again silence. I now can listen to DVDs in proper stereo (including some high res audio DVDs that have been getting popular in the last ten years).

Very pleased, a simple inexpensive solution for my needs.

I wanted to use this box so that I could have both my TV and PC connected to my PC Speakers, and I thought this was the solution. After plugging it all in, I turned the TV on and the sound was fine. I then switched on the PC but noticed a high pitch humming sound coming from the speakers whichever source was selected, so it appears I can't have both devices on as planned. It works if you use one device at a time it appears.

Does everything expected. Nice and small with all ports to rear so looks good with other equipment. Other input selectors like this tend to have ports on all sides, meaning that if you don't want wires everywhere, you have to find somewhere to shove it where you can still access the switch but it is hidden. This just sits happily on top of my amp. Great purchase.
