Where can you start to try and say whats good about this album, well there just isnt anything bad about it apart from the fact that i would have loved it to be longer.

Soundscapes are wonderful, for some reason they bring back wonderful memories why i dont know but they do, the commission was created especially for the two shows, one in London one in Switzerland, music travels the world (how about that for a title).

The three main pieces are seperated by some clapping & silence, which far from allienating you, drags you deeper into it, i guess some would say that her work isnt new or groundbreaking, BUT i would disagree. Its both groundbreaking and fresh, you need to play it LOUD or on headphones to hear all the bits your going to miss (oh yes you will miss loads).

Its been in and out of my cabinet so many times i've had to change the plastic cover hehe, when you think this was recorded in 2004 it still sounds great today, this is a gem but like most gems it gets overlooked by the bigger labels, WARP from SHEFIELD .... remember that ... black dog / red snapper and many many others .... this is a gem.

GO BUY IT WHILE YOU CAN, IF YOU LIKE MINIMALISTIC SOUNDSCAPES THIS IS FOR YOU
