Amazon Verified Purchase
On some televisions using the headphone socket disconnects the TV's own speakers. If one viewer is hard-of-hearing then headphones are a godsend, but not if they mean no-one else can listen at same time. This adaptor (3.5 mm stereo socket to 2x RCA phono plugs) gets round the problem. It is ideal for enabling headphones to be used at the same time as the TV's own speakers.

Ordered this cable just before Xmas for my father's new TV that didn't have a 3.5mm headphone socket :-( Didn't think it would make it by the 25th but thanks to their quick turnaround it arrived just before the big day. The cable does the job and my mother is having a peaceful New Year. Thx

Cheap and does its job
This works perfectly, its cheap and does exactly its job, would recommend getting a long aux cable if you want to connect it to your ipod etc

Cheap and cheerful
Very cheap - but do the job. The quality isn't good. I use these when DJing, and i warn you do not use them for output sound. You'll get a lot of crackles. Read more

Cheap and cheerful
The RCA/Phono plugs are rather cheaply made, but should work fine providing you leave them alone. Certainly not bad for the price.

Wrong connection
unfortunately it doesnt work with the tv, however I have since found a headphone jack to plug my existing connection into.

Works fine as long as it isnt moved then you get a buzzing sound through your speaker's . Other than that no problems.
