I use this cable with my desk speakers, connected to my laptop. Really long which is good because it needs to come from under my desk. Have experienced no problems with the sound quality - had it for about a year. I recommend it!

This headphone jack is very poor quality. I have to constantly move the wires in order to get sound in both ears, also the sound jumps from definingly loud to very quiet for no apparent reason.

It is worth spending a bit more on a better quality jack as this will save frustration. Mine is going in the bin.
