This is a nice little external HDD case.
It looks smart and certainly does the job, It is however not terribly tough so not that useful for carrying around with you.
Also marked down a bit as it is fairly noisy.

After mounting/dismounting a hard drive in this product the wire connecting the harddrive to the pci board snapped off. This is a cheaply made product.

This product isn't the finest enclosure I've ever seen but it's cheap and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

It took me ten minutes to get the thing up and running and that's including taking the hard drive out of the machine it was living it. Connected it to my XP laptop and Windows found it and assigned it a drive letter without my having to do a thing.

As others have said, out of the box it's noisy bugger but I don't think the fan is really needed so I disconnected it (just a matter of pulling a plug). So far it hasn't burst in to flames, as a matter of fact it's not even warm to the touch.

Nice little gadget on the whole. I'll probably buy another one to make good use of another drive I have knocking about.
