Considering the standard of most TV at the moment, this is still head and shoulders above most stuff. But it appears that the creators still haven't learnt from the mistakes of season 4. A lot of the sketches can get quite tedious as they multiply (Too many of Gordon Ramsey, Arnie S,'The Rooneys',comparing the lives of Tony and Euan Blair & Gordon Brown and son etc).Plus I don't think 2DTV recovered well from the loss of John Culshaw and Jan Ravens as the voices. And still no reappearance of Professor Liebstrom! Still there are more high points than low points. Most of the Dubya sketches still crack me up.

In summary, buy this if you have the set. If not, start at series 1&2.

2DTV and Bob Monkhouse (as the narrator) will be missed and, I assume his demise made the series end. Plus the lack of new talent to do voices?

It was a brillaint series considering it was made within minutes of broadcast, so as to be up-to-date with current events.

Obviously, 2DTV took over from the likes of 'Spitting Image' and 'Drop the Dead Donkey', both very good series in their own rights, but 2DTV made their own brand of humour and comedy and did it even better.

Watch and see.
