I have become a big 2XU fan of late between their tri-shirts, running tights and shorts, compression run socks, and now these recovery socks. I had been experiencing soreness in my lower legs after the weekend long runs, and decided to try these to see if they could help reduce recovery time. These socks are slightly thicker and seem to have a thicker weave as well compared to their compression run socks. I wear them for anywhere between 3-5 hours after the long runs, and they really do help recover my legs much quicker. Earlier, I pretty much always had to take the day after the long run as a rest day. Not any more, now I can go for my easy runs the next day - really adds flexibility to my running schedule through the week!

Small - 7.5 - 10.5 (calf thickness up to 14.5")
Medium - 7.5 - 11 (calf thickness greater than 14.5")
Large - 11.5 - 14 (calf thickness 15 - 17")
X Large - 11.5 - 14 (calf thickness larger than 17")
If the size is even slightly big the socks can bunch up behind the knees, so it's important to get the right size.
Despite the tight fit and large size of these socks, they are relatively easy to get on and off. The elastic has been holding up pretty well so far. I have several pairs of 2XU compression run socks, and I initially made the mistake of putting those in the washing machine. The socks were fine, but the elastic on the top seemed to have become a little distorted. After that, I always hand wash these socks and hang dry. This has really helped keep all my 2XU socks in great shape after months of use. A very highly recommended pair of socks.
