While the magazine format leaves something to be desired, the content holds up. I'll be honest, I didn't know what to expect at first. I kind of felt like purchasing this was a guilty pleasure: a how-to-guide on sticking it to the man. After reading the articles though I felt quite different. The author is an industry expert on cyber security who provides valuable insights into today's tech and trends. Is it worth reading? Definitely, but then again I am IT professional who is always curious about the professional perspectives of others. My suggestion would be to purchase an issue first to get a taste, then if the flavor suits you: subscribe.

(What's this?)

On open Wi-Fi networks (and many other networks too), it's trivial for an attacker to collect all the packets and look through them. You can use tools like aircrack-ng, wireshark, and FireSheep to do this. "e;
