Here you will be able to see moments behind the scenes on the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) set and remote location shooting as well as the planned explosions of bombs and spontaneous laughter accompanied by candid, firsthand, never-before-told stories of relationships, lifelong friendships, mishaps and mayhem developed over five seasons and more than one hundred episodes that make the magic that is “24.”
The show, originally intended as a one-time miniseries, is now in its fifth blockbuster season, with a sixth already confirmed. “24” continues to receive critical and popular acclaim. Among the many awards garnered are: a Golden Globe for Best Actor (2002) and two SAG Awards (2004, 2006) for Kiefer Sutherland; an Emmy for Best Writing for series creators Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran (2002); and a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series (2004).

This will keep any true 24 fan quiet until season 6 starts.
It isn't just a collection of photos - Jon Cassar who took a lot of the photos himself and is Director/Co Executive Producer of 24, provides an insight into what was happening at the time the photos were taken, such as the one taken on the 24 set when the crew were gathering around watching the news unfold on the morning on 11 September 2001, during the filming of season 1 of 24, before any episodes had aired.
Some of the best photos are the ones where people are caught relaxing or having a laugh with each other, it takes you a little way towards knowing what it must be like to work on a show like 24.
There is a behind the scenes DVD included as well (region 1) - which has interviews with Jon Cassar and others who took some of the photos in the book. The DVD isn't very long at only 7 minutes though!
A quality book, well worth ten quid.

This is a MUST for all 24 fans - brilliant behind scenes photos - guaranteed you will love this book - loads of high quality unseen photos - you wont be disappointed

This book gives a fascinating behind the scenes look at the making of the show.
There are some stunning pictures which a give a real insight into what goes into making a show as big as 24. There is also some text which is very short and sweet. Rather than waffling on about rubbish, it just gets straight to the point and tells us an interesting (usually) story about each of the pictures.
Some of the best pictures are ones which show the cast "out of character". It's not until you see Keifer Sutherland laughing and joking around that it suddenly hits you just how depressing his existence in the show is.
There are contributions from all the main people involved, up to season 5.
All in all fans will not be disappointed and at this price it really is a must buy.
