Ross Halfin is one of the best and most renowed music photographers in the world. He began his career in the late Seventies and has been working with top bands from all around the world since then. Is relationship with Iron Maiden began since the band was formed and he has documentated their entire carreer in photography. This book is the result not only of his brilliant work but also of his passion for music and for Iron Maiden. Plus, Steve Harris himself contributed to this book with a foreword, in recognition of Ross Halfin's talent and work. If you love Iron Maiden, you will love this excellent photo documentary. What a great book! I must say that i was amazed by the variety of the photographs Ross Halfin incoperated in the book. Picture quality is excellent, and the material undeniably very valuable and extremely rare. Ross Halfin did a fantastic job with this book, covering the legendary mighty Iron Maiden right from the early days. Even though I try to get my hands on every Maiden pictures I can find, there are still photos that are unseen and these are included in this book. The pictures are chronologically put in order, there is a foreword by Ross Halfin, Geoff Barton,Rod Smallwood, and of course 'arry. All the might and glory of the best heavy metal band to walk the earth is reflected in this book through Halfin's lens. This book is a must for every Maiden fan and will soon be very valuable. A great purchase of 5 stars without doubt. UP THE IRONS
