My daughter is lactose intollerent and i thought this book would be great to get some menus sorted.As she gets older its more difficult to give her stuff like what her friends have.The book had some good recipe ideas,but the recipes aren't all lactose free.I was disapointed because i thought all the recipes would be suitable for her.Will continue to look for that cookery book thats completely lactose free!!!!

Unfortunatly when I was buying it it said nothing on it about it being an american cookbook. All the receipes are in cups rather than grams and ounces. Im an old fashioned girl and prefer to stick to what Im used to. If the measurement issuse doesnt bother you then get it worth buying with all the interesting facts at beginning.
