5.0 out of 5 stars Does EXACTLY what it says! 11 Feb 2011

I have an office in an out building about 3oo feet from the house and have fiddled around for years trying to get a decent wireless connection. Homeplugs don't work because the office is not on the same mains circuit and range extenders only give 54Mbps which is too slow - in addition the connection through a range extender has always been glitchy. In short, a major pain in the rear to have the internet...

So I thought I'd give this aerial a try. Eureka! Not only does it work I'm getting full speed from my Router - at long last.

This was easy to set up on a Windows XP computer. Plug in the aerial, 'found new device' pops up and then asks you to find the driver, use 'from a specific location' and find the driver on the little disc that comes with the aerial.

I'm writing this from the office and I can see from my computer that the speed is 150Mbps to the house - fantastic.

So if you have a remote computer and cannot secure a decent wifi connection, this is definitely the product. I would give ten stars if I could - delighted with it.

Just an edit to say that after a month of use, the aerial has been 100% reliable and I'm delighted to no longer have to fiddle around trying to get an Internet signal. It works flawlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars USB YAGI Turbotenna NextG 12 Nov 2010
By Mik
I'm on a campsite in France, weak wifi signal.
I purchased the antenna to try and solve the problem, and it did.
I loaded the utility and drivers first per the clear and simple
instructions.
Plugged in the antenna, pointed it in the right direction, and waited
a few seconds. Bingo. It worked immediately with no messing about,
and the internet radio works perfectly. Expensive, but worth
every penny. Weak signal ? Buy it, it works.
Thanks RF Engineers

I am very satisfied with 220mW High Power Play & Play WiFi Booster Antenna that I purchased from Amazon.co.uk. It is reaching 500 meters from the router. The first time I used it, all of the signals that were unknown to me pop up on my laptop. Quite a bit expensive though but if you'd like to have the best wireless WiFi antenna then I recommend that you try this!

3.0 out of 5 stars 2200m wifi booster 802.11n 10 April 2012

Hi all,
i needed a powerfull aerial booster good range etc. so looked around as you do and bought this after due consideration. it has power for sure but it doesnt seem to beat the £8 pound aerial ive resorted to which im using now infact. it tries to connect to my wifi then gives up!
also the stand flops around like a raggy doll and slips and slides because the feet are shiny cheap plastic and the whole thing is top heavey.

the software doesn't allow you too stipulate the connection you want, in other words if it can't connect to your desired net-work it goes for something else like free bt crap.
so id say i wasted my cash.
good luck.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works! 27 April 2011

I bought this to use on my macbook when away in our motorhome. It arrived this morning and I had it working in about 10 minutes. The CD supplied is the small kind which won't play on a notebook with a slide in CD player so I had to copy the drivers on to a USB stick from my desktop. This was the only small frustration. I uploaded the mac drivers from the USB then plug and play! The antenna immediately picked up about 12 more wifi sources than I can usually see from our living room.
Fantastic!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Performance 15 Dec 2010
By mike
Excellent piece of equipment. Easy install and works as claimed by seller. Best wifi antenna/adapter l've ever used. Could only pick up 3-4 access points before with every kind of adapter. Now l'm getting around 15. l'm in a very built up area too. Well pleased with this piece of kit, and well worth the money.
For any pen-testers reading this, it works as soon as you plug it in. Backtrack linux sees it straight away [ no drivers need to be installed ] and packet injection appears to work as seller claims.
Well built and solid.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing 23 Nov 2010
By Roger
This is the best wifi signal I've ever seen, just plug-in and my wifi list went from 2 available access points to 10, I can see wifi access points for the whole street. I purchased this as I need remote desktop access to other computer networks and wanted to use the BTFON free wifi network. I've connected to several BTFON access points and even with low signal strength I had a reliable connection and could connect to other remote desktop computers without any problems and never lost the connection also download speed was fine. Excellent product really well made and worth the money.
