Truely Postmodern 31 Mar. 2009
By B. Schubert - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
This a truly postmodern work. Fiction and Fact are blurred in this narrative, elements from pop-culture are mixed with spiritual experiences and accounts from the author's daily life. In the end it does not matter whether you can follow all the way, what rather matters is that you question the common world created by language. What is more real? Are not all facts based on fiction and subjective experience? Where do we draw the line? This work heightens our awareness for signifier of identifiers / simulacra created by media and communicated in culture. In many ways it is a next revolutionary step in literature and one can only hope that the author gets the attention she deserves for this avant-garde piece of work.

*Channeling Jim Morrison* Clearing the boys name and a testimony on 'soul groups' 1 April 2011
By Erika Siegel - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Claiming contact and connection with a dead celeb is scary!! But it happens. I can testify to the legitimacy of the notion. I am sharing this for the first time ever, as a way to show support and validation for Ms. Fysche.

December 30, 2008 I was visited by Jim Morrison in a dream. Nothing was said but he sat next to the tub a laid in reenacting his death as he shape shifted into different people, yet still being Jim. The very next day I had an out of body experience, that ultimately changed my perception of reality 180 degrees. I went through a few months of intense increase of psychic ability, specifically telepathy and started writing poetry, which I had never done before. Whenever I would sit down to write I would feel the presence of Jim Morrison and if you read my poems, they are not my words they are his. Some examples […]
Here is some channeled information for all humans, that I now believe to have been inspired as well by Jim. […]

I was told to research him more which I did and found very interesting connections.
I am Florida native, so is Jim. He lived with his grandparents for a while in Clearwater, Florida which is my neighboring city. The address he lived at was 314 Osceola Ave, the address I grew up at as a kid was 819 Osceola Trail. He would frequent a local college that I now attend. In fact this line from the song "Soul Kitchen" was inspired by the campus building, "Well, your fingers weave quick minarets". Even today random things will happen to remind me of my special relationship with Jim, like some one writing me the other day and telling me about his mother living across from Jim in LA, without knowledge of my connections to Jim. I dont know if I knew Jim in a past life, or what brings him to me...all I know is that he does have a story of his own to tell....

Jim gives me the impression that he was abused by his dad, the other members in his band were hired to be his "handlers" and he doesn't like the way he is portrayed as a drunk, out of control shock rocker. He was emotionally abused by everyone around him. He was brainwashed to think he was a Greek god and when he started to come out from under the spell his friends, controllers, handlers, had him under, they killed him. He wishes he would have just been a writer and healer. He obviously became a very powerful magician (Shaman) if you will and I think when he started to use his gifts for himself and not for other peoples agendas, they killed him because they couldn't control him and keep him depressed/evil anymore.
Had he been able to live he would have done healing for others in a more chilled out manner....writing, counseling, stuff like that.

I also get an impression from him that he wants to be of assistance to anyone that needs it as we transition into a new age. He loves the true spirit of all that live on this earth and even though he came across as aloof and out of control while he was here, it was not him, it was other peoples projections that created this identity, he is probably one of the most sensitive souls ever to live and powerful too. He is like a loving concerned older brother who wants to help protect those who are like him.
Wondrous reading for a creative soul 14 Jun. 2011

I first met Fysche via MGMT on Facebook discussions about art and music. I knew she was a writer, but I never knew just how awesome she was at her craft until I picked up this novel. Since reading 220, I have become more skilled in my own ability as an artist, and been very inspired. The wit, honesty, cleverness, genuinity, humility and artistic elements of 220: Sifting make it a new American Classic. I have it on my bookshelf next to some of my favorite works such as "Cat's Cradle" and "On The Road" because it surely fits in with these novels for it's literary brilliance and importance.

I have read many novels and obtained an English minor and a Journalism major from Ohio University, and I consider myself to have a great judge of character. If you're considering buying this book, DO IT! If you aren't, take look in the mirror and ask yourself "Why not?"

I need to find out more about this author. But I do experience similar things or have in my life One minute i relate to it all the next wondering if the person is suffering from mental issues. Little does that mean because so do I. Nothing is as nothing does. We are all real. Just not our delusions Or are they?
