Excellent resource on all things 2012,
By Hugh Newman (Glastonbury, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 2012 in Your Pocket (Paperback)
Geoff Stray was on top of the 2012 phenomenon well before it became a popular subject. His 'Beyond 2012' book is a classic in this field and this pocket book is set to become a bestseller due to it's concise and detailed summary of the subject. He takes several viewpoints, tackling ancient prophecies, near-death recollections, cosmic cycles and the psychic and spiritual effects 2012 may have on us all (amongst a plethora of other interesting themes). It is illustrated throughout with detailed graphics, graphs and illustrations, making '2012 in your Pocket' an essential guide for the more discerning 2012 enthusiast.

My favourite 2012 book,

This review is from: 2012 in Your Pocket (Paperback)
If you want a wonderfully concise resume of all that is prophesised for 2012 then you can not do better than getting this book. The size is so convenient for popping in your bag, and the content is very easy to read and understand. Having read the excellent and detailed Beyond 2012 also by Geoff Stray, it's wonderful to have this potted version as a quick reference guide. There has been a lot written about 2012 - not all of it that accurate - but with Stray's book I like the fact there is a sense of a good deal of meticulous research, and his inclusive and descerning style gives me a confidence that what I am reading is coming from an authentic source.

Not fit for purpose,
By Silver Lady (England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 2012 In Your Pocket (Kindle Edition)
I bought this book after watching a TV programme recently which included the author. I chose the Kindle format because I was in a hurry to read the contents. My review does not concern the contents so much as the Kindle formatting, which is garbled in places and is not suitable for all the photographs which are included in the book. The photographs and illustrations are too detailed to decipher if the description is not on the same page. I consider that it was a bad decision to issue a Kindle format of this book and the price is too high for the inferior quality of the content. After reading NASA's comments on the December 2012 topic I will not be buying the book in paperback.
