The Very latest Proof Half Sovereign created and struck by the Royal mint for 2012, To celebreate the Queens Diamond Jubilee year, the mint have created this one year only redesign of St George and the Dragon by Paul Day, During the years 1983-1999 No BU Type sovereigns were struck, The only sovereigns produced were the highly collectable proof types. Ideal as a wedding, christening, anniversary or even birthday present for that special someone.
