This book seems to me as though it is bitty in places, however saying this I do believe that it would make a good TV film.

I downloaded this book because I liked the title and the read-up on it. It is about a family in normal America set within the modern day and all its relevant probabilities. It is quite well written but some sections are rushed over which makes those sections unbelievable. I enjoed it but felt in some parts there was too many words and in others not enough. I managed to read it over 1 day but on the whole I enjoyed it but felt the author could have written it better, especially towards the ending which felt rushed like they had gotten bored and wanted it over with.

Preisler Harrington's 2012 Armageddon: Unholy Alliance is a believable doomsday novel. You have a close-knit family made up of all kinds of personalities and professions that come together to do whatever is necessary to survive as a family. Jordan gets a job with the Department of Homeland Security. While in her job she learns of a mass, world-wide conspiracy with the good old USA as the main target on the scale of 911 but bigger and globally. Her husband is in the Coast Guard and with his help, along with Jordan's boss; they try to prevent some of the possible devastation. In between the now and the possible d-day date she does what she can to help ensure that her whole family has a fighting chance at survival.

This book isn't just about doomsday scenarios or scaring people, it is also about love, the love each person has for each other, their family members, and as Americans. This book is about the true inner strength of every day people coming out at a time when most people would rather lay down with the covers over their heads. Without a doubt this is a 5-star book that shouldn't be missed.
