5.0 out of 5 stars a pick 'n' mix feast for patchwork 31 Jan 2006
Format:Paperback
This is, quite simply, a superb patchwork block resource that no modern quilter should be without. The author tackles the great variety of blocks by breaking them down into their component parts and their cutting and construction is very easy to follow. Lots of inspiration in the graphics, including a great section of block combination possibilities for quilt tops. All the basic techniques are covered, but along with some excellent tips (including ways of improving your patchwork accuracy), so it's not just the "basics for beginners". One for every quilters bookshelf!

5.0 out of 5 stars A superb book 20 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
I had had a glimpse of this book while at a workshop and immediately decided it was a book I would like to own! The blocks go from being very simple to rather more challenging and the book also makes suggestions of blocks which can be used together in a quilt. The instructions are very easy to understand. I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars 200 Quit Blocks 28 Oct 2010
Format:Paperback
Terrific book. I borrowed my sister's book to read and decided it was so good I would buy one for myself. Working your way through the book is great fun and a challenge. It is very useful to have the difficulty ratings given with each block.
