Bought for my 7 year old son. This is an excellent toy for helping to understand how electrical circuits work and provides lots of different arrangements to maintain interest. Each project yields a working "machine" which does something e.g. dimming light bulb, gyroscopic helicopter type thingy. Great fun for Dad as well

This kit is fine for a first time introduction to electronics. The projects are fun and quick to set up. However it could do with a bit more detail in explaining how each circuit actually works, a bit like the old Tandy kits from 20-odd years ago. Apart from that though, it's OK.
