Arrived early the day after ordering it. Excellent, inexpensive and does what it's supposed to. Should have bought a few of them.

I bought some headphones designed for mobile phones Geemarc Telecom ClearSound Hook 1 Mobile Inductive Silhouette Earhook - Black, but found that they had a 2.5mm plug for use with, some mobile phones and for the Geemarc Clearsound CL1400 Caller ID Telephone that has a headset socket on the back. It works with the latter, but I found that my iPhone has a 3.5mm socket. This little adapter cured my problem and I can now use the headset with my iPhone. I had to be careful to order the correct adapter as there are more listed for a 3.5mm plug to adapt to a 2.5 socket.
The adapter is sturdily constructed and the connections it makes feel reassuringly firm.
