The product arrived on its packaging and everything looked normal. But, upon further inspection, I noticed that the center button for turning on and off the screen didn't look right. I pressed it firmly to see if I could set it right and it went all the way through! I was cursing my bad luck and thinking that I had to return it and everything, but then I realized that the cover was only attached with 4 screws. I thought about it, I knew I was probably going to void my warranty, but I opened it anyway. It is a very simple product. With little effort I was able to put the button back. And now it is working fine.
As the other review says, this product suffers from interference from other devices but we already knew this (this is the second one we buy, the first one was lost in an "accident"). The color is good on the screen and the sound is OK. We live in a small apartment so we don't care too much about distance. And the interference is not a big issue, we just plan to use it for some months anyway, so we wanted something cheap. If you have the money, and you care about the image quality, probably you want to spend it on a digital one. This is not a robust product, but if it lasts me until the child is 1 year old, I will be happy.

I opted for this monitor as the digital ones are too expensive and some of the other options available did not appear to offer value for money. My package arrived within the time scale promised and was well packaged and un-damaged.
The monitors were easy to set up with a clear, concise instruction manual.
The clarity of image is good and the L.E.D night mode is also good although you need to ensure that the camera is positioned perfectly as only a small circular image is attainable.
On the downside there is a little interference to the monitor caused by other electrical equipments but this is reduced by sensible monitor placement.
Overall this is a very good piece of kit for the money you pay and i imagine it can rival other, more expensive options.

Bought this baby monitor as liked the idea of seeing baby without going in the room. This feature is useful.
HOWEVER doesn't transmit at all through stone walls even to the next room.
Also even if you can get picture -is only really in colour when you are in the next room with both doors open -not really much need for a monitor if this is the case!
Most electrical appliances cause interference (microwave, wifi, cordless phone)usually have to turn sound right down as is very annoying!
To be honest would have sent it back but had thrown all the packaging away by the time it became irritating!
