i recentley purchased a normal set of reins and my daughter hated them so i started searching online for an answer to my problems and came across this harness, i was slighlty doubtfull that she would like these either as she is very independant but thought it was worth ago, i let my daughter point out which animal she wanted and she has i thought picked the horse. The parcel arrived very quickly and i gave the harness to my daughter the first thing she did was cuddle them and then demanded it to be put on her, we couldn't get her back in the house and everytime we tried to take the harness off she cried in the end we had to wait till she fell asleep to remove the horse backpack. the next morning the first thing she cried for was her horse on so she ended up eating breakfast,lunch and tea in it we eventually got the reins of her by offering her a packet of sweets. She love's wearing them and it has made our trip's out that bit better. The reins are well made and automatically lovable.

My little boy is not quite 2 1/2 and I purchased these for him as he goes mad in his pushchair now. The product is a fantastic idea, seems well made good long "lead" (rucksack pouch very small but I really could live with that) However The strap round the chest is very very small and hardly adjustable at all. My son has measured up slightly small on his most recent growth chart measurements and maybe his chest is slightly bigger than average and I haven't noticed, but he's certainly not mutantly proportioned. These straps dig in and are uncomfortable for him with just a small jumper on, never mind a coat. It is such a shame as it wouldn't have been difficult to have made the straps longer and this product would have been brilliant - but with such small chest straps it becomes unuasable. Especially a shame when considering the price.

this is the most fantastic, useful article I have purchased in a long time. Not only am I keeping my son safe from running into a street or getting lost, but he has a cute little friend that he can hug and take care of. He loves his little horse, he takes it everywhere and when we need to put it on, he does it himself with no more fighting and screaming.
