I needed this to extend the cable on an external hard drive that was supplied with a silly little 40 cm cable that is too short to reach anything. The extension works perfectly, I have found, and being a standard male to female cable it will also be useful for any other usb connection if I need it.
When I first thought about getting one, I was amazed at the high prices I saw them for in Staples, so when I got home I looked on Amazon where I bought this for less than three pounds and no p&p.

Simple product at a good price. I have an iMac which i love but the USBs are all round the back so a simple short extension flex was the answer. It does the job for little money.

It works!
