Reviews

Michael Caine narrates this documentary remembering the final stages of the 1986 World Cup final, the tournament that will be forever remembered in England for the decision to allow 'the hand of God' goal scored by Maradona for the winning team, Argentina.

I've previously seen the Portuguese version of this documentary in video-cassette format and I loved it, but I just realized the English version in dvd format had some parts cut (censored???), like when Maradona and his team-mates are in the dressing room singing loud, after beating England in the quarter-finals or the voice of Argentinian commentator sound like crying after one of Maradona's goal in that same game.
Nonetheless, this is probably the most exciting documentary about a World Cup I have ever seen.
I honestly recommend it, for those with real passion for the history of the game.

This DVD is why I got into footbal as a kid. Obviously it is outdated now but holds great sentimental value to me.
